We are the Ready Set Go! Preparedness team and our mission is to inspire people to learn and practice systems of self-sufficient living and community building with the intention to properly fulfill our stewardship toward God’s children and resources.
In short, we believe that emergency preparedness is a personal responsibility at the individual and family level and is not a burdon for governments or other organizations to bear. If the people are properly prepared for emergencies, then we can best protect our families and serve our neighbors and community. No one can help you or your neighbors as efficiently as you if you are properly prepared
We also believe that self-sufficiency is essential to maintaining individual freedom and thriving communities. We should not be dependant on countless faceless organizations for every aspect of our livelihood as these entities cannot provide for our needs as best as we can.
To this end, we strive to share information on how to live independantly where possible given your circumstances, how to build strong local communities, and how to prepare for emergencies so you can live confidently in faith instead of fear.
Ulitmately, we are all children of God who should strive to enter into and keep covenants with Him. Thus, He should be the only being we dependant on and not trust the arm of flesh for our support. He will show us how to provide for our families and share our abundance with our communities to build a better world following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
